Buyer’s Appointment With The Lender
Buyer to prepare the following for their lender up front:
1. W2’s for the last 2 year
2. Copy of 2 months current pay stubs
3. Copy of bank statements for the last 3 months for both Savings and Checking Accounts.
4. Account numbers and addresses/phone numbers for all creditors (Credit Cards, Car Payments, Personal Loans, Mortgages, etc…)
5. Money for appraisal and credit report(s)
6. Fully filled out loan application or prequalification sheet.
7. For VA Buyers Only: Certificate of Eligibility
8. For FHA Buyers: Social Security card and Driver’s License
9. Copy of Deposit Receipt or MLS listing if there is a property already
Please keep in mind, it’s always best to be pre-approved by a lender and have the prequalification letter in hand prior to making an offer.
